Little Rangoon, a new Burmese restaurant recently opened in Scottsdale, Arizona, specializing in cuisine from culturally rich Burma (Myanmar), nestled between the countries of Bangladesh, India, China, Laos, and Thailand in Southeast Asia.

As much as Burma shares borders with these countries, its cuisine is invariably influenced by these surrounding cultural spices, seasonings, ingredients, and cooking styles. However, the combination of the ingredients in Burmese food and the cooking styles are also what makes Burmese dishes unique.
